About Us

Horizon Infusions is Ohio's largest and longest-running network of infusion centers, offering convenient, comfortable, and affordable infusion therapy for patients with chronic conditions. Our clinical team partners with patients and providers to create individualized plans of care in state-of-the-art facilities.

We offer short-term and long-term infusion therapy with flexible scheduling, including evening and weekend appointments. Infusion services are initiated from physician referral. After receiving a referral from your physician, we verify your insurance coverage, coordinate benefits, and schedule your first appointment.

Don McNeil, M.D.
Medical Director

Dr. Don McNeil, Medical Director

Dr. McNeil is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at The Ohio State University and does Allergy Training for the OSU ENT Residency Program. In addition to being on the medical teaching staff of Mt. Carmel, Doctors and Riverside Methodist Hospitals, Dr. McNeil is also on the consulting staff of Grant Hospital in Columbus and Bethesda Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio. A member of the American College of Physicians, Dr. McNeil is board certified in allergy, immunology and internal medicine. He has published numerous articles related to asthma, allergy and immunology.

Dr. McNeil is president, founder, and principal investigator at Optimed Research, and has over 20 years of research experience. Certified as a clinical investigator since June, 2005, Dr. McNeil has conducted research studies in the following areas: Pneumonia, sinusitis, bronchitis, CVID, allergic rhinitis, rheumatoid arthritis, hyperlipidemia, hypercholesterolemia, osteoarthritis pain, hereditary angioedema, diabetes, and asthma.

Dr. McNeil founded Optimed Infusion LLC. in 1999 and is the Medical Director. He provides oversight of the infusion clinic, which administers IVIg treatments to patients with immunodeficiency in the Columbus, Ohio area.  Dr. McNeil sees patients at Midwest Allergy’s Worthington, Chillicothe, Zanesville and Newark offices.

Gordon E. Myers, M.D.

Dr. Gordon Myers received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Richmond. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed his Pediatrics residency at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga. During his residency, he received the Intern of the Year award. After that, he entered a combined adult and pediatric fellowship in allergy and immunology at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. During his time there, he focused on his passions of immunodeficiency and food allergy.

Dr. Gordon is board certified in allergy and immunology and in pediatrics.

​

After completing his education, Dr. Gordon, known Dr. G, returned home to join Cincinnati Allergy & Asthma Center as part of the third generation of allergists. Since his return, he has provided oral immunotherapy (OIT) to food allergic patients and treats patients with recurrent infections. As an allergy and asthma sufferer himself, he remains committed to the practice of evidence-based medicine with an emphasis on patient-centered care and shared decision making.

Currently, he lives in Anderson with his wife, two sons, and daughter. On the weekends, you can typically find him listening to The Rolling Stones, cycling Tower Park and exploring all the local playgrounds with his family.

Jody L. Huss, MS, APRN, ACNP

Mrs. Huss is a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Jody recently retired from an accomplished and impressive career in the US Air Force after serving 25 years in the nursing field.  She obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. She also received a dual Master’s degree as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. Ms. Huss has over 28 years of experience in nursing and healthcare operations, including emergency medicine and critical care, integrative health and medicine, and evidence-based practice.  Ms. Huss has traveled to many states and countries, providing medical care to US troops, their families and those less fortunate.  She was born in Lima Ohio and now resides in Springboro, Ohio where she enjoys her time with her husband and children. 

 

Her hobbies include travel, interior design, running, weight-lifting and attending festivals.
