Growing infusion suite in Crestview Hills, Kentucky is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant / LPN compassionate about patient care and infusion therapy. In this position, you will play a key role by performing various administrative and clinical tasks. You should be comfortable with a variety of activities in the office including but not limited to; patient care, collecting, organizing, and scanning documents and communicating with other team members. Dependability, excellent communication skills and flexibility with your schedule are a must, as well as familiarity with all necessary office equipment, software, and procedures.

Approximately 24 hours a week ~ Must be available Monday, Tuesdays and Fridays

Specific Duties

• Preparing and administering medications, including oral and subcutaneous injections

• Arranging laboratory services and specimen collection

• Obtaining vital signs and medical history

• Electronic charting

• Scheduling appointments

• Stocking medical supplies

• Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills

• Collect patient registration forms and upload into EMR system

• Collect and process patient payments

• Mail payments received to lockbox

• Receive mail and forward to designated departments

• Accept drug and general deliveries

• Prepare/sanitize equipment and patient rooms

Candidate Requirements

• Certified LPN / MA

• 1-2 years medical experience preferred

• Excellent customer service skills
