Expansion provides more comfortable and private setting for infusion patients
Horizon Infusions announced the grand opening of its state-of-the-art infusion center to serve the needs of the greater Cincinnati community. The new center has powered infusion chairs, private rooms and new hours to accommodate the active lifestyle of infusion patients. The expansion provides infusion patients with the most convenient and comfortable care while maintaining our experienced medical supervision and doctor follow up. The new center is among the largest and most modern independent infusion centers in Ohio.
Horizon Infusions was founded in 1997 by Dr. Greg Gottschlich to provide infusion patients with an exceptional experience who didn’t want to be admitted into a hospital for their infusions. Recently, Horizon has been partnering with health systems throughout the region to provide care for patients who’s payer requires them to be treated in a less costly, independent infusion center.
“We take great pride in taking care of our patients and strive to make them comfortable and welcome. Our new center allows for more privacy and comfort, and our expanded hours allow our patients to come in before or after work and on the weekends”, said Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Supervisor, Jody Huss, MS, APRN, ACNP.
Horizon’s services include pre-authorization, co-pay assistance, flexible hours, and experienced medical supervision. The new center offers private rooms, iPads, Wi-Fi, complimentary snacks and refreshments, and free parking. Horizon is still one of the most cost-effective sites of care in the region, with cost savings passed along to payers and patients.
